DIRECTIONS: From I-75 or the Suncoast Expressway exit on S.R. 52. Head west to Hays road. Make a right and go to Hudson Ave. (about 1 mile). Make a left. Word of Life is the 2nd driveway on the left . From U.S. 19 or Little Rd. go to Hudson Ave. and head east. Look for large sign on the right, just before Hays Rd.   This course is 3 miles from the old Hudson course on the same side of the road.   This course features manicured fairways, Mach V baskets and 4 carpeted tee pads on every hole. No Sand! No Weeds! No Garbage! No Luzny! Enjoy!

For now, look for the little orange arrows visible from every basket to point towards the next tee pad. Tee signs and O.B. markers are next on the agenda.

Pasco County`s only disc golf course is located at the Word of Life Camp on Hudson Ave. in Hudson, Florida. Word of Life Camp is a non-denominational Bible-Study camp for kids and families. The facility is open to all who are not offended by Christian principles and are willing to respect the rules and etiquette that the facility requires. Everyone must sign a release at the headquarters - the 1st big building on the right. The greens fees are incredibly cheap at $2 per person to play all day. Pay when you sign the release. You may also inquire about the camp`s other amenities like family camping, paintball, rock climbing, canoeing, swimming, nature trails, etc.

The course is located in the back by the cabins. Park in front of the chapel across from hole 18. Hole 1 starts by the 1st aid station and cafeteria. Hole 8 plays right in front of the girl`s cabins and on the main courtyard. Please use caution when throwing this hole. Campers frequently traverse this fairway and this is where we showcase our skills in front of the crowds. This should be the only hole that experiences regular pedestrian traffic.

Right now, we have 18 baskets installed along with 4 teepads on every hole! A-pads are for kids and beginners. B-pads are for Ams. C-pads are for Advanced players. And D-pads are for Pros. Plans are in place for 9 alternate pin-placements to add some length and variety. We have 9 extra blue powder-coat Mach V`s for the extra placements that we hope to leave in place so you can play to the long placement or the short - your choice. Right now there is no water on the course but that could change if the summer rainy season kicks in. There are several gullies and ponds that might fill-in to make some shallow water hazards later in the summer. The plan is to rope these off to make them permanent out-of-bounds hazards. The camp staff and campers are very excited to have a top-notch disc golf facility to use. This is a great opportunity to showcase our sport to thousands of young people who will take this experience back home with them, teach others about it and head out to look for courses in their local area to keep the spirit alive. So far, the reaction has been phenominal. The kids are amazed at the drives and long putts. You can feel the excitement!

If this course proves popular, we may be permited to install a true championship course along the entrance to the property. The second course will be long and challenging and suitable for touring pros. The property is beautifully manicured and high-profile and the 2nd course may ultimately be among the best in the state.
